So, how do we ensure we’re meeting your desired NDIS outcomes?

We are a registered NDIS provider

As a registered NDIS provider, we have been approved by the NDIA to deliver NDIS funded services. This means we have been verified by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and are able to claim our invoices with the NDIS directly. It also means our business has undergone a detailed audit to prove its suitability to work within the NDIS and its guidelines. As a registered NDIS provider, we’re also required to adhere to the NDIS Price Guide, and must follow a stringent set of rules and regulations while providing support and services. While unregistered disability providers still have to follow certain rules and regulations, you can rest assured knowing that we follow the specific laws, guidelines and policies outlined by the NDIS to ensure your experience with us is first-class.

Disability Plan Services was founded by Alexandra Shaw after her own family experiences with disability. Alexandra’s close experience with disability in her personal life allows her to have an innate understanding of the kind of care, supports and services disabled people need to meet their NDIS outcomes. This understanding means she has cherry-picked the best plan managers and support coordinators to help you achieve the best outcomes possible.

We support the NDIS Outcomes Framework

At Disability Plan Services, we support the NDIA’s decision to maintain the NDIS Outcomes Framework. This framework tracks how participants are progressing during their time in the NDIS by asking questions about how their lives have changed in areas such as daily living, choice and control, health and wellbeing, relationships, community participation, work and learning.

The responses – which are kept anonymous to protect the identity of NDIS participants – are helping the NDIA understand how the NDIS is making a tangible difference in people’s lives, while identifying areas that need improvement within the Scheme. The data the NDIA receives from participants and their families is then broken down into areas, so NDIS registered providers like us can assess the satisfaction of participants in the areas we work. While this data is mainly collated for the NDIA so they can reflect on what areas of the NDIS needs improvement, Disability Plan Services uses it as a tool to see if there are any changes we can implement in our business to improve NDIS outcomes for participants.
