At Disability Plan Services, we aspire to deliver uncompromised experiences. 

As a registered, third-party provider of NDIS Plan Management and Support Coordination services, we know the impact that compassion, understanding and experience can have on someone living with disability.

Since opening the doors to the first Disability Plan Services support centre at Capalaba Central Shopping Centre in May 2020, we have been fortunate to expand operations to two new locations in south east Queensland – Toowoomba and Helensvale!

In this short time, we’ve love being able to support so many NDIS participants through their journey and we continue to be proud of the work our team does.

Although seeing the smiling faces of our clients and their families is enough to make everything worth while, a few Disability Plan Services clients have recently been kind enough to share comments about their experiences so far.

Shona is the mother of 21 year old Disability Plan Services client, Alice. 

Coming to Disability Plan Services for Plan Management and Specialist Support Coordination straight after receiving Alice’s first NDIS plan, this was Shona and Alice’s first experience with any NDIS supports.

Being new to the NDIS, Shona trusted the recommendation of a friend who was a client of Tea-cup Cottage, a disability support organization also founded by Disability Plan Services Director, Alexandra Shaw. 

“I first heard about Disability Plan Services through an existing client of Tea-cup Cottage,” Shona says.

“I went to their website to read about plan management and support coordination. I wanted providers who would communicate to other and service providers.

“Our support coordination with Disability Plan Services has worked seamlessly because I haven’t had a provider contact me about non-payment or any other problems.

Our Specialist Support Coordinator, Johnny, has done a wonderful job! He’s made things happen and got things moving. I know Johnny is working in Alice’s best interest to make sure she gets the support she needs.”

At our Toowoomba support centre we’ve received overwhelming support from our clients, including Trish and Sonya who have both also been receiving support coordination with Disability Plan Services.

Trish is full of praise about the close-knit team of supports she has built with the help of her Specialist Support Coordinator, Tanya.

“I used to be so independent but I’ve been through a few challenges,” Trish says.

“But I don’t have to worry about kicking butt any more – I let Tanya do that for me!  She really makes things happen.”

Likewise with Sonya at our Toowoomba support centre who says she is really appreciative of the broad range of work Tanya does for her. From coordinating an Occupational Therapist (OT) trail for driving skills to helping her get away for a special supported holiday on the Gold Coast, Sonya is overwhelmed with the support she receives from Disability Plan Services.

“She (Tanya) does a very good job – she gets things done on time and she talks to my mum about any problems or concerns,” Sonya says.

“I went away with a support worker – she took me to the Gold Coast! I went shopping, swimming at the pool and went to the beach. Living where I do, I don’t get to visit the beach very often.

“The team at Disability Plan Services are very nice to me. I’d recommend them and have already told my friend about them.”
