Gold Coast, a new NDIS Plan Management provider has arrived!

We are excited to announce that our sister company, Blue Tongue, has launched in Helensvale on the Gold Coast!
Offering capacity building day programs and job skills training for people of all abilities, Blue Tongue is the best way to gain confidence after finishing school. Targeted to people aged 16 to 25 and recent school leavers, Blue Tongue is all about learning, adventuring, and friendship.
But it’s not just school leavers who can enjoy a Blue Tongue adventure! Blue Tongue Social is designed for people aged 30 to 50 who are looking to meet new people and fine-tune life skills while having lots of fun.
At their new Gold Coast location, you can tap into a number of disability day services and supports including NDIS Plan Management and Support Coordination by Disability Plan Services.
Here is just a taste of what you can expect to see at Blue Tongue on the Gold Coast!
Blue Tongue Adventure
Catering for young adults aged between 16 and 25, Blue Tongue offers a wide range of activities to suit all interests and abilities.
From community access to capacity building, Blue Tongue Adventure is all about having new experiences, making friends, and learning new skills along the way.
For people aged 30 to 50, Blue Tongue Social is a new program that helps people of all abilities to have fun while brushing up on important life skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
If you have an NDIS plan with applicable funds, you can utilise your funding to cover many of the costs associated with Blue Tongue Adventure programs including School Leavers Employment Support (SLES).
School Leaver Employment Support (SLES)
Blue Tongue’s School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) program is designed to equip school leavers with the skills and confidence needed to get ready for the workplace.
Through hands-on learning, SLES helps school leavers to become better prepared for life after school and is available for people of all abilities up to two years after finishing high school.
Because SLES is an NDIS funded support and Blue Tongue is a registered provider of NDIS supports under Tea-cup Cottage, you can utilise your plan funds to cover this capacity-building support.
Blue Tongue offers job skills training in a range of areas including hospitality, money handling, customer service, and travel training.
Teacupology
An all-new specialised disability service is opening soon at Blue Tongue’s Gold Coast location! Teacupology brings allied health services to people of all abilities.
With dedicated allied health rooms for speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, and more delivered by professions with experience in a range of disabilities, you know you’re in good hands.

NDIS Plan Management & Support Coordination
People with NDIS funding can now access NDIS Plan Management and Support Coordination through Disability Plan Services within the new space at Blue Tongue on the Gold Coast!
After successfully launching in Brisbane’s Bayside in early 2020, Disability Plan Services is now expanding to Helensvale to bring much-needed, quality NDIS Plan Management and Support Coordination services to Gold Coast locals of all abilities.
Understanding how your NDIS plan works can be difficult – that’s where NDIS plan management can help! With trusted support from an experienced team, you can make the most of your funding to reach your goals sooner.

Prepared by people of all abilities under the Blue Tongue SLES program, supporting Blue Tongue Pantry is a great way to help school leavers get hands-on experience in a supported environment.
Every Blue Tongue adventurer who visits the new location will also be able to enjoy all of the amazing facilities including an indoor basketball court, arts and crafts space, gymnasium, and produce garden. What’s not to love?!
